Black Cat Civil were engaged by the Department of Infrastructure, Planning & Logistics to complete 15km pavement upgrade and seal under the back drop of Kata Juta (Mount Olga), approximately 1 hour west of Uluru. The works required in excess of 100,000m3 of bulk desert sand earthworks and production of over 75,000t of base course from local extraction pits. The project is one of the remotest frontiers of work successfully completed in Black Cat Civil history requiring a fully self sufficient camp facility owned and operated by Black Cat including a fully operational mechanical workshop and fitting bay.
