The Ballina bypass will provide 12km of four-lane dual carriageway as part of the Pacific Highway Upgrading Program. The Ballina bypass extends from south of Ballina at the intersection of the Bruxner and Pacific Highways to approximately 500m north of Ross Lane at Tintenbar. It will bypass a 19km section of the Pacific Highway, including four traffic lights, three roundabouts and 60kph speed zones in the Ballina urban area. It will also deliver significant improvements in safety and transport efficiency.
